- Chelating and bleaching of synthetic, artificial and natural fibres
- Soaping agent for VAT and sulphur reactive dyeings and printings
- Sequestering / dispersing agent in all kind of working process (preparation, bleaching, dyeing and soaping).
TECHNICAL/APPLICATIVE CHARACTERISTICS:
- It disperses the elements which are responsible for water hardness and cotton impurities
- Particular effective action against catalyst ions due to heavy metals (iron, copper)
- It prevents silicate precipitation in continuous bleaching processes, so avoiding incrustations
- It increases dyes solubility, so improving their penetration and evenness
- It can be used in dyeing bath because, even if it sequesters iron, magnesium and calcium ions, it does not affect metal ions of dyes
- If used in PES dyeing and stripping, it avoids oligomers redeposition and improves disperse dyes diffusion
- It removes unfixed dyes of dyeings and printings, so improving the rubbing fastness
- If used in dyeing of ready-made clothes, it reduces or avoids the metallic parts browning caused by the precipitation of organic and inorganic compounds.
RECOMMENDATIONS OF USE:
Scouring and bleaching
generally speaking 1 - 2 g/l of SEQUINOL ZF are sufficient to keep in dispersion the substances responsible for water hardness, impurities on the fibres, eventual artificial or natural sizing agents.
The contemporary use of a wetting / dispersing agent (BIOTEX DF for discontinuous treatments, BIOTEX PC for continuous ones) allows to obtain an excellent deterging action without redeposition problems on hydrophilic fabrics, perfectly ready for the subsequent applications.
In case of continuous scouring and bleaching, 1 - 2 g/l of SEQUINOL ZF prevents silicate precipitation on cylinders, avoiding then incrustations.
Dyeing
1 - 2 g/l of SEQUINOL ZF are enough to improve dyestuff solubility, particularly reactive and indantrene dyes, improving their penetration and evenness.
Soaping of dyeings and printings
SEQUINOL ZF quickly removes unfixed dyes and prevents at the same time the redepositation.
Generally speaking, 0.5 - 1 g/l of SEQUINOL ZF are necessary to obtain the best dyeing fastness.
