TECHNICAL/APPLICATIVE CHARACTERISTICS:
- It improves direct and reactive dyes resistance to water, washing, perspiration, wet ironing and seawater on cellulosics
- Compared with the traditional formaldehyde based fixing agents, it shows a real light fastness improvement
- It does not provoke yellowing
- It does not influence handle
- It is compatible with cationic and amphoteric optical brightners
- It can be added to preferably formaldehyde free crosslinking agents
- It can be diluted in cold water in any proportion.
RECOMMENDATIONS OF USE:
Unifix Series is used on dyeings or printings after accurate rinse.
Indicative recipe for reactive dyes
Treatment by exhaustion
0.5 - 2% of Unifix Series, depending on colour yield, possibly starting at pH 6 - 7 by acetic acid
- Heat to 35 - 40° C and keep for 15 - 20 minutes.
